The last leg of Booth's Rock Trail in Algonquin Park follows the bed of an old railway line, built the line in 1890 to transport lumber out of the park. This was the site of the Rock Lake lumber mill next to the tracks. A series of beaver dams has long since flooded the site and crated a series of ponds and streams.
